Why the Nakano Quintuplets might be the closest thing to "Impossible" in the entirety of anime

So as I was skimming through my seasonal anime watch list there’s this new show .this winter season that caught my attention, an anime that goes by the name of “Quintessential Quintuplets”.

Plot:

Japanese Highschool student Futaro Uesugi has achieved excellent grades but leads a difficult life otherwise. No mother, No friends and a father struggling with debts while Futaro and his younger sister Raiha often go hungry.

An opportunity arrived itself when the rich Nakano family hired Futaro as a highly paid tutor. But he discovers his five charges — charming identical quintuplets of varied personalities named Ichika Nakano, Nino Nakano, Miku Nakano, Yotsuba Nakano, and Itsuki Nakano — but all of them have 0 interest in studies and gaining grades.

Some of the quintuplets are against having an unknown male in their apartment, but Futaro’s diligent tenacity gradually convinces the quintuplets to reduce their attempts to have him poisoned or arrested and to advance their studies.

This anime is one of the highlights of this season as of course, it is a Harem show and with every Harem show, there is that debate of “WHO WILL WIN?” and that, of course, is the main reason as to why this show got so much popularity — MIKU BEST GIRL

JUST LOOK AT HER! HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE HER?!

and the fact that all 5 of the sisters have very distinct and likable personalities there is an assurance that there no desire (Just a much more respectable word for fetish. You got Yotsuba if you like energetic women.

You got Itsuki if you like anime girls with antennae’s.

A woman of few words, BEST GIRL.

you got Ichika if you’re the ARA ARA type.

Then you got Nino

if you like being being stepped on and DOMINATED) is left unfulfilled but we’re not gonna talk about the anime itself as this article is more on how the mere existence of the Nakano quintuplets is so improbable that it is nearly impossible.

Let me explain why

Birth rate:

Let’s start by knowing what does the word quintuplet really means. “Quintuplets are each of the five children born into the same mother or birth” Now let me get this straight, quintuplets are extremely rare at an intergalactic level in fact according to Multiples of America.org 24 or more quintuplets are born per year in America out of 3,978,497 live births performed which is already 0.0006032428829278997% of all live births performed in the entirety of America. Also, the ratio of triplet and higher-order of birth is 5/100,000 which is exceptionally rare and remember it’s “Triplet and higher order of birth” so that already states how rare multiple births are in itself. But that doesn’t stop there my friend we still have a lot more to talk about.

Labor Complications:

According to Elliot J.P. (Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Arizona) whose data is collected from 36 quintuplet pregnancies, 6 pregnancies delivered within 24 weeks of gestation (For those who don’t know gestation means “The process of carrying or being carried in the womb between conception and birth”) had no surviving infants whatsoever. That’s all because of preterm labor complications such as but not limited to:

Apnea — A pause in breathing for 20 seconds or more. This is due to a slow heart rate.

Respiratory distress syndrome — A breathing problem most common in babies before 34 weeks of pregnancy.

Intraventricular hemorrhage/IVH — This is bleeding in the brain.

Patent Ductus Arteriosus/PDA — This is a heart problem that happens in the connection between 2 major blood vessels near the heart

AND MANY MORE.

Complications like this make quintuplet pregnancy much more complicated and intricate that it becomes nearly impossible but because we’re humans we found a way to solve these problems. SAY HELLO TO FERTILITY DRUGS!!! These drugs are used for pregnancies around the world for keeping the babies healthy, avoiding pre-term labor complications, etc… But even with the use of these drugs it’s still hard for a quintuplet pregnancy to be successful and it’s even harder for the quintuplets to survive until adulthood and it’s more likely that they will die within their first years. Talking about death let’s talk about the Mortality rate

Mortality rate:

Mortality rate means “The state of being subject to death” Therefore mortality rate means “A measure of the numbers of death in a particular population or individual”. According to also Elliot J.P. 253/1,000 pregnancies are successful and only 83 of those survived within the first week, that means 170 pregnancies failed at the delivery or died because of labor complicacy and out of those 83 more or less likely that only 50 or less of them can survive until adulthood without dying. So, in conclusion, it’s more likely that you’re gonna win the lottery 3 times in a row now that number seems to be small but it isn’t because the ratio of winning the lottery is 1/10,000,000.

Types of quintuplets:

There are 2 types of quintuplets Fraternal (Multizygotic) and Identical (Monozygotic). Fraternal are those that will be different in gender meanwhile Identical is the same. Most of the quintuplet pregnancy is fraternal and quintuplets are rarely identical and the fact that Busby quintuplets were the only all-female quintuplets born in America…Yes, it’s that rare and also considering the fact that the Dionne quintuplets.

(The Dionne quintuplets are as follows:

Yvonne édouilda Marie- Died 2001

Annette Lillianne Marie-Allard- Living

• Cécile Marie- émilda Langlois- Living

Émille Marie Jeanne Dionne- Died 1954

Marie Reine Alma Houle- Living

Dionne Quintuplets

They are all born at May 28, 1934, at Corbell, Canada in a farmhouse in an unregistered territory)

The Dionne Quintuplets are the only quintuplets known to live into adulthood without a single one dying. Also, I haven’t read a single article about a quintuplet pregnancy that ever happened in Japan in recorded history so that’s another reason why this occurrence is highly unlikely.

Blue eyes:

Another factor that makes the Nakano quintuplets one of a kind is the fact that they all have blue eyes, something that is very rare to see in Japan and in East Asia in general. Blue eyes can be found in many countries but are more common in Northern Europe and near the Baltic sea countries like Finland, Poland, and Denmark. In areas where Blue eye color is dominant, it enjoys an 80% probability of having one. It can also be found on Western Asia (Countries like Jordan, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon) but it is considered rare in other parts of Asia especially in the East and as far as I know, there hasn’t been any reported cases of it ever since Japan became Japan the main reason for this being that the dominant eye color of Japan is brown that is it’s own way just increases the improbability of a person having blue eyes in a country where everybody has brown and that is because to have blue eyes both your parents must have it first only then you can have it and in Japan where Japanese people are more likely to only marry (If that’s still a thing in Japan) people from their own country further increases the improbability AND the fact that both the parents of the Nakano quintuplets have black eyes makes it EVEN more unlikely for them to have blue eyes.

With all these facts in hand I guess it is safe to say that the Nakano quintuplets shouldn’t even exist but what can you do? This is anime we’re talking about the only medium where women can have dicks and men become LITERALLY pregnant (I’ve seen some horrid stuff so don’t even ask for the sauce) and of course who can forget about that time when tentacles became a sexual fetish.

Here in the anime world, there is no such thing as “Impossible” and that’s what makes it so great.

Also… Miku best girl

Which girl will win in Kanojo okarishimasu? Kanojo Okarishimasu or Rental Girlfriend in English is one the most popular harem show as of now, replacing the glory of its predecessors namely Quintessential Quintuplets and We never learn! It’s in the spotlight right now and is argued as one of the best shows of the summer of 2020 and there are very good reasons for that mainly it’s because of the bold depiction of the modern young man in the form of Kazuya Kinoshita and the struggles of change and development from being a spineless, wretched, cum stain of a character to a responsible, confident man. It’s amazing how this anime can touch so many people on a deep level, how they can relate to the struggles of our main character Kazuya Kinoshita and his struggles to find true love and well…. There’s a lot of women that are worthy of that love, in fact, there are 4 of them and before you know it, that’s where the problem starts. You see Kanojo Okarishimasu is a part of the Harem genr...

Why Isekai is the worst genre as of this day.

Before we get to the talk about why Isekai is sooooo bad as of today I think that we must have a little knowledge about Isekai itself. Isekai is a subgenre in anime that’s all about a certain person getting transported, reincarnated, delivered, etc…In a fantasy/another world. So basically Isekai has been around ever since the first years of anime the time when anime is still practicing its first steps. One good example is Rayearth (1997) Magic Knight Rayearth focuses on three eighth-grade girls: the tomboyish, headstrong but short Hikaru Shidou (獅堂 光 Shidō Hikaru); the quick-tempered and no-nonsense only child Umi Ryuuzaki (龍咲 海 Ryūzaki Umi); and the intelligent and ladylike Fuu Hououji (鳳凰寺 風 Hōōji Fū). While on a field trip to the Tokyo Tower with their respective schools, the girls find themselves drawn into another world, Cephiro. There they learn that Cephiro is influenced by one’s will and that the Pillar maintains Cephiro through prayer. The girls are then tasked with rescu...

Does bad Anime exist?

As I was watching Mahou Shoujo site which is undeniably the edgiest show of 2018, i came to a deep state of melancholy subsequently asking myself the question “What if the show isn’t made to be taken seriously?” and I think that it’s somewhat right, at the start of episode 1 we’re introduced to Aya Asagiri (whom I think isn’t a character at all, she’s more like a robot.) whom was bullied, domestically abused, physically harmed, psychologically stressed and was nearly raped by her senior, she basically walks this land just to suffer and nothing else. People who have depression and anxiety mostly have very deep reasons because of it but in Aya’s case she’s depressed and in an everyday case of sodomy happens simply because the script demands it, she has basically nothing to live for, no dreams, no ambitions literally ZERO and on the later events of episode 1 we see that she’s 2 steps away from ending it all, she took 1 step but suddenly backs off and starts crying because she real...
